Road test showed – No road test due to major oil leak. External checks showed oil pressure switch is broken allowing oil to spray out of switch. Oil level is low due to leak (Approx 2quarts).
OIL PRESSURE SWITCH – Remove & Replace
Reclaimed .6oz, evacuate. Recharge A/C system with 24oz freon and 3oz oil mixed with dye. Perform leak inspection (Passed). Road test and recheck shows temp at 40 degrees at idle. IF system runs warm again we will recheck for leaks now that dye is in the system. Reinspection for leak will be at no cost. Cost of any parts and labor for repairs and freon will be charged.

Computer scan returned codes P073F – Unable to engage gear 1, P074B – Unable to engage gear 3, P2832 – Shift fork "A" position circuit range performance, P285E – Shift for "A" actuator circuit high. External checks showed clunk in front end is due to play in sway bar links. Transmission is stuck in 2nd gear and will not upshift due to internal failure in transmission. Transmission must be removed for replacement and programming.

Road test showed front suspension loud crack/clunk. Oil change/ABS/Trac lights on. Did not get any issues with transmission. Computer scan returned no codes. External checks showed all suspension/steering is tight and shows no signs of any issues. Very slight cracking on lower rearward control arm bushing. Suspect strut mounts are cause of loud crack/clunk noise. Valve cover gasket is leaking oil (Should be replaced at next oil change or prior). Left rear tire is worn more than the other 3. Oil change should be done (No sticker in window but message display shows change oil). Service transmission and check driveline. Road test and recheck. 90 day warranty against leak at service points only and only in this shop.

Road test showed oil pressure gauge drop out intermittently. HVAC blows cool air through vents. External checks showed water pump and thermostat housing is leaking coolant all over front of engine. Oil pressure switch is leaking oil through sensor into connector causing circuit issue and gauge to drop out.

Power flush cooling system with cleaning chemicals and refill with conditioner and required extended life coolant. 90 day warranty against leak at service points only and only in this shop.
