“When I started SDR back in 1979, I was told continually that Kenosha was a “tough nut to crack.” Well, we’re still here after 47 years through two bad recessions, AMC/Chrysler closing, along with many other industries closing or leaving the area. I attribute our success to our diverse community of great hard-working people.

Warranty does not cover abuse deemed by this shop. Suspension parts must be lubed on a regular basis. Warranty is VOID if failure is due to rusting caused by lack of lubrication.

2013 Honda Accord

Inspection of rear brakes showed no concerns. External checks showed needs front brake pads & rotors. Disassemble, clean and lube required brake areas to install listed parts and adjust as required. Bleed system as required. Road test and recheck. Two year 24000 mile warranty against defects in materials and workmanship only and only in this shop. Warranty does not cover abuse deemed by this shop. SDR WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE for brake calipers or wheel cylinders that were not replaced by us that are sticking, leaking and cause damage to pads and rotors prematurely.

2014 GMC Terrain

2020 RAM 1500
Mileage159,834Service Date4/23/2026Services Performed- Road test showed concern now at multiple speeds. Computer scan returned code P000B – Bank 1 Camshaft 2 Slow Response. External checks showed clatter/bearing noise from tensioner and idler. Serpentine belt is worn/jumping from bad tensioner. Engine oil is black but full. Watching live scanner data vvt solenoid sticks intermittently when loudest clatter/rattling noise happens (Recommend engine oil system flush).
- SERPENTINE BELT / TENSIONER ASSEMBLY & IDLER PULLEY – Remove & Replace
- Flush engine oil system with required BG chemicals, Perform engine oil & filter change, (most filters & up to 5 qts oil inc) with driveline inspection, top off fluids & air up tires. This procedure is for maintenance only and does not cure leaks or mechanical problems. If problems persist further mechanical repairs will need to be made. 90 day warranty against leak at service points only and only in this shop.

2007 Chevrolet Impala

External checks showed battery terminal ends are loose on post and have corrosion build up not allowing full voltage to vehicle. Starter needs to be replaced due to internal failure.

- Remove cable ends, clean all corrosion, resurface posts and terminal ends. Reinstall cables and seal complete terminals.

2016 Buick LaCrosse
Mileage74,235Service Date3/23/2026Services Performed- Road test showed TPMS light on. No CEL on at this time. Computer scan returned codes P0171 – Lean bank 1, P0174 – Lean bank 2. External checks showed both right side tire pressure sensors are dead and need to be replaced. PCV hose is disconnected causing system to go lean which will trigger the CEL light. Reconnected the PCV hose and system went back to normal fuel trim levels. No other concerns at this time.
