“When I started SDR back in 1979, I was told continually that Kenosha was a “tough nut to crack.” Well, we’re still here after 47 years through two bad recessions, AMC/Chrysler closing, along with many other industries closing or leaving the area. I attribute our success to our diverse community of great hard-working people.
I have operated SDR on the principle of treating a customer as if I were in their shoes on the other side of the counter. Good communication leads to a proper understanding. This is of utmost importance in solving your problem.

Mileage52,801Service Date8/5/2025Services Performed- Road test showed runs good, drives good. Perform engine oil change, under hood and drive train inspection. Top off fluids, air tires. External checks showed wiper blades are bad. Brakes are all in great condition and approx 70% all around. Tires are wearing even and show no signs of any issues (Suggest rotation at next oil change). Battery tests good at 632CCA out of the rated 640CCA. All steering components show no signs of any issues. Rear shocks are weak and should be replaced in near future. See list of recommends. Road test and recheck. 90 day warranty against leak at service points only and only in this shop.

2013 Chevrolet Impala

Can hear whirring/humming noise even while driving straight down the road. External checks showed transmission fluid is dirty and discolored. Rear hub bearings are making noise while driving and should be replaced in near future before any major issues occur.

2010 Ford Fusion
Mileage195,682Service Date6/20/2025Services Performed- Road test showed – No road test due to major oil leak. External checks showed oil pressure switch is broken allowing oil to spray out of switch. Oil level is low due to leak (Approx 2quarts).
- OIL PRESSURE SWITCH – Remove & Replace
- Reclaimed .6oz, evacuate. Recharge A/C system with 24oz freon and 3oz oil mixed with dye. Perform leak inspection (Passed). Road test and recheck shows temp at 40 degrees at idle. IF system runs warm again we will recheck for leaks now that dye is in the system. Reinspection for leak will be at no cost. Cost of any parts and labor for repairs and freon will be charged.
- Two year 24000 mile warranty against defects on materials and workmanship only and only in this shop. Warranty does not cover abuse deemed by this shop.

- Two year 24000 mile warranty on workmanship with limited lifetime warranty (one time replacement only) on suspension/steering parts and two years on other listed parts only and only in this shop. Warranty does not cover abuse deemed by this shop. Suspension parts must be lubed on a regular basis. Warranty is VOID if failure is due to rusting caused by lack of lubrication.
